What Does The Bible Say About Worry?

worry

Why do we worry?  We all do, about this or that, for one reason or another.  But why?  When we put our faith in God, we are trusting Him for all our needs.  We are following wherever it is that He leads us.  He is our guide and companion along life’s adventure.

When we face hard times, we should be willing to go forward with His help.

Bible

The Bible is our ‘instruction manual’ that gives us valuable information about our life and daily challenges.  It is a ‘history book’ that shares with us specific stories that impacted today’s world, and also is giving us the opportunity to NOT repeat history’s mistakes.  But, I also see the Bible as letters from my spiritual Father, that reveals his love, compassion, mercy, and grace for me.  He loved me so much that He took the time to inspire man to pen His thoughts and character, into bound letters, so that I could know Him.  Wow! Knowing all of this, why would I worry?  Do you find yourself heavy laden with worry and concerns?  Are your thoughts consumed with what the outcome will be from any given situation?  Don’t let Satan steal your peace and joy.  Rest in the LORD and receive His strength!

This is something I’ve really put into practice over the last several years. When I’d catch myself beginning to worry, I’d hand the situation or the persons over to God in prayer. Am I completely successful? No, but I know He can handle it all if I put my trust in Him.
    Beautiful reflection as always, Mary!

Don't be shy! We would love to hear from you!
