The Proclamation Of The Three Angels In Revelation Chapter 14

Bible

The Book of Revelation is the last book of the Bible.  It reveals the end of times and encourages believers to remain faithful to Jesus Christ and to give them hope that they will ultimately be victorious.

In my studies, I tend to spend quite a bit of time in Revelation.  There is a great deal of information held within these pages that can’t be absorbed with just one reading, as with most books of the Bible.  Each time I read through a book, I always see something that I didn’t the previous time of reading.

Today, I studied Chapter 14.  The time frame for this particular chapter is estimated to be mid-tribulation.  It was the ‘Three Angels’ in verses 6-20 that I spent a lot of time studying.

The First Angel:  Will warn the people to fear God instead of the Antichrist, to give glory to God instead of the Antichrist, and will instruct them how to do it.  No one will be able to stand before God at the judgement and claim they didn’t know about the Antichrist.  Everyone will have their opportunity to accept Jesus as Lord.

The Second Angel:  ‘The Fall of Religious Babylon’.  Babylon will be rebuilt to become the commercial center of the Antichrist’s kingdom.  Babylon is not a literal city; this is the world system that opposes the church and the Christians.  Babylon is symbolic of the world and its evil system.  This will be the final warning that “The Lord is Coming“.

The Third Angel:  Will pronounce doom on the worshipers of the Antichrist during the Tribulation period.  The third angel shall warn human beings of the consequences of accepting the Mark of the Antichrist and becoming his worshipers.

Understanding that these events occur around mid-tribulation, the world will be 3 1/2 years into the Tribulation period.  The 7 Seal and  7 Trumpet Judgments will already have been dispersed upon the earth and its people, and the Antichrist will be in the process of being set up as an object of worship.  To be one who remains on this earth, one would think that a person who has experienced these events and heard the Proclamation of the Three Angels would repent and ask for God’s forgiveness.  But, the Book of Revelation reveals that people continue to blaspheme God for these events and turn their backs on God.  Their hearts have been hardened and love has been lost.

What a terrible, horrific time this will be for people who are still living here on earth.  If you haven’t invited Jesus Christ into your heart as your personal Savior, and you want to know what He has in store for you as a child of God, all you have to do is simply ask Him.  It really is that easy!  What have you got to loose?
